Honestly, I had no idea that most, if not all retirement accounts are taxable. Frankly, I didn’t even realize that because I earn more than $200k, that there any tax-free accounts available to me. Then I learned about the Roth IUL. I was sold. I am heading toward receiving $67k to $87k per year in tax free income in my retirement. I plan to open a small specialty coffee and bakery when I retire. My Roth IUL will help me make that possible. Thanks for helping me make my dreams come true Roth IUL!

My financial planner didn’t know about the Roth IUL. All he knew about was putting me into things that didn’t work for me (maybe they worked for him!). Anyway, after looking into and reading about all the great reviews, I opened a Roth IUL and am contributing $500 per month for now. I am 39 and I plan to increase my contributions and the plan is, to receive close to 70k a year in tax free income, plus my “taxable” social security. But between my wife and I, we will plenty of money to travel in retirement, the way we want to. Thanks Roth IUL!

I had no idea that I could earn so much in an account that ultimately comes back to me as tax-free. I had no idea this could be done! What a find!!!! Thanks Roth IUL

I opened a Roth IUL for myself and my wife. Next year we plan to open one for each of our children. We can take the money out tax-free and we can use the kids money for college. It is way better than a college fund and much more accessible. I recommend the Roth IUL to all my friends. I just wish I had started it sooner. Our family thanks you Roth IUL!

I heard about the Roth IUL from a wealthy friend of mine who seems to always have the answers. He explained how wealthy people have always found ways to generate tax-free vehicles, because they knew how taxes work for or against you. I am now thinking like a “wealthy person” and am building my retirement nest egg in a Roth IUL. You should too! Thanks Roth IUL, you changed my life!

Social Security is taxable. 401K’s are taxable (and they lose money). IRA’s are taxable. Everything is taxable in retirement…EXCEPT the Roth IUL is NOT TAXABLE. My advice to everyone, check out the Roth IUL, it is an awesome place to build generational wealth. I now tell all my friends and relatives, open a Roth IUL, you will not be sorry. Thanks Roth IUL!

I looked at Crypto, too risky. The stock market was always a bust for me. Money market is too low, so are CD’s. I took all of money and put it in my savings account, then I was earning practically zero. Then I found out about the Roth IUL. High rates of interest, survivor benefit, living benefits, PLUS tax-free income in retirement…for the rest of my life. I was sold. I recommend Roth IUL for anyone who is looking for a long term gain, with no risk. Thanks Roth IUL.

I had heard about a Roth IRA, but not a Roth IUL. I earn too much for a Roth IRA, but the Roth IUL was perfect for me. I am contributing $450 per month, but I can increase to over $1200 per month and if I reach that level, I will have over $67,000 in tax-free income in retirement, for the REST OF MY LIFE! Wow, thanks Roth IUL

Chris Townsend

At the age of 42, I was quickly realizing that my retirement strategy, which was basically relying on Social Security and my deferred compensation from work, was going to get me where I needed to go in retirement. After my discovery call with Roth IUL, I realized that I can double my income in retirement, but it will all be free from taxes! That is what sold me. No taxes on any of my hard earned money. I now feel liberated from those negative thoughts of being broke in retirement. Thanks Roth IUL !!

I learned about the Roth IUL from a friend who told me about it more than 2 years ago. I never looked into it, but after I lost another $20k in my 401K, I had to find another way. Now, I am protected and I am expecting more than $35,000 per year in tax free income in retirement, PLUS I have a survivor benefit for my family in case I die early. Most importantly, no more losing because of the stupid stock market. Thanks Roth IUL, you really helped me see the light!

There is no maximum amount, but you need to earn at least $50K in “household income” to apply.

Most (nearly all) retirement plans such as 457B’s, 401K’s, IRA’s, 403B’s…even Social Security, are “taxable” which means you are taxed at the prevailing (current) tax rate, as you receive the money. Just like as you work now and your wages are taxed, so are retirement accounts. Tax-free Roth IRA’s and Tax-free Roth IUL’s are free from taxes, meaning the money receive is net, after tax and is not reportable as income. This can save the average taxpayer as much as 20% to 25% each year on taxes.

Yes, you can have both and the limits from your Roth IRA do not affect how much you can put into your Roth IUL, and the reverse is true as well.

Accounts that are “indexed” are not invested in the stock market, but instead only copy the gains of the stock market, but NOT the losses. You are protected against market downturns of any kind.

William Roth, the Senator from Delaware (1971 – 2001) who was the namesake of the Roth IRA, is the inspiration behind the Tax Free Roth IUL. Our agency, Life Legends adopted the name “Roth IUL” as a description of the tax-free aspect of the Roth IUL. If you click on this link (link to Roth IRA vs Roth IUL) for a full comparison. But, both allow you to remove money in retirement Tax-Free.

IUL is the abbreviation for Indexed Universal Life. When something is Indexed, it means that it follows a certain kind of strategy (S&P 500, or Bloomberg… or some other earning strategy) and it mirrors the activity of how it performs in the market. Universal Life is a permanent cash value life insurance plan that includes “living benefits” as well. It is through this component of the Roth IUL, that allows it be tax-free income.
